David asks…
do you like your pampered chef food chopper?

Bill answers:
I LOVE it! It is much better for chopping small amounts than a food processer. I prefer using it when chopping up onions and other smelly or slimey foods. My hands stay nice and clean. I’m afraid I’ll cut myself with a knife. It’s easy to clean!!!!
John asks…
what do you use your pampered chef chopper for?

Bill answers:
Any Chef will tell you that those small, hand held, supposedly “convenience” items are anything but. If you need help chopping food, go for it.
Most anybody with experience at cooking and entertaining can handle a knife faster.

Looking for recipe: Pampered Chef Broccoli Ham Ring?
Years ago, I had Pampered Chef parties and loved the recipe for the Broccoli Ham ring. I’ve since lost that recipe. I remember it has ham & broccoli chopped in their chopper, dijon mustard, crescent rolls and some other stuff, but I don’t remember what else.
Anybody remember or have this recipe anywhere?

Bill answers:
Broccoli Ham Ring
4 oz. Ham, chopped
4 oz. Fresh broccoli, chopped
1/4 C. Onion, chopped
1/2 C. Fresh parsley, chopped
1 C. Grated Swiss cheese
2 T. Dijon-style mustard
1 tsp. Lemon juice
2 packages refrigerated crescent rolls
Preheat oven 350ºF.
Coarsely chop ham, broccoli and onion. Add parsley, cheese, mustard and lemon juice to ham mixture; mix well. Unroll crescent dough separate into 16 triangles. Arrange triangles in a circle on a 13 inch round baking stone with wide ends of triangles overlapping in the center and points toward the outside. (There should be a 5-inch diameter opening in the center of Stone.)
Scoop ham mixture evenly onto widest end of each triangle. Bring outside points of triangles up over filling and tuck under wide ends of dough at center of ring. (Filling will not be completely covered.)
Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Lizzie asks…
How do I chop fresh spinach?
I use to use a little Pampered Chef chopper but it took so long having to cut the stems off and scrape out the spinach from the blades.
I don’t really know any techniques with an actual knife they just rip up the leaves.

Bill answers:
Lay the leaves on top of eachother, roll them up and slice away.
Mandy asks…
pampered chef products?
are pampered chef products better than other product. for example, is the PC food chopper better than the one i can buy at walmart, a no-name brand?
and is food chopper worth buying?

Bill answers:
Hi Mary, I agree with the second answerer. I have several items I purchased because friends hosted parties and I do love a couple of them
But honestly, you can get products that are in my opinion just as good at a way better price. I actually have the kitchen aid food chopper Yankee girl speaks of and love it…$15.00 at Kohls
BTW, the food chopper…read some reviews on the pampered chef product
