As much as it is one of the most important things in any network marketing business, it is not an easy thing to do. The constant phone calls, cold calling that is, hanging out in malls and parking lots. I did try that out…for about a week, then made a point to find a better way of doing the entire thing.

Waiora is Naughty and Gets Rapped on the Knuckles

Waiora has been outstanding company for a long time now.

This is what we all thought, until recently a big old skeleton was let out of the closet. Unfortunately every company has to answer for mistakes that were made. Top companies like Toyota has had to take big losses with mistakes that are made, it happens. The question that I ask is what happens if mistakes are ignored? Let’s leave that thought there and talk more about what happened to Waiora.

There is big competition within the health and wellness niche in network marketing. Every company comes up with something scientifically tested, that is guaranteed to work. It is a general sales strategy for any product. Make no mistake, I am sure that most of the companies that produce these products have very high standards, and I am sure that they have probably spent millions of dollars on the development of their products.

Never the less, it has come to the light recently that one company has crossed the barrier, and somehow left a couple of ingredients out of one of their products. Now I’m not god’s cop here, and maybe it was an honest mistake, but leaving an ingredient out of a product that you are selling as a supplement is a little bit on the shady side.

Waiora has a product in their range called “Natural Cellular Defense”.

It is a water that is enriched with all sorts of minerals and added vitamins to, as the name would suggest, give natural defense against cellular decay.

It was a big shock for people to learn in late 2010, that an independent lab had found that their water contains almost nothing at all and is very close to plain water. Waiora has a class action civil suit against them.

Apparently the water had been advertised with added zeolite at 2400 milligrams, the tests revealed that it was closer to 150 milligrams. The product had been sold by Waiola from 2004-2010. I do not like to be negative on my blog, but that is a mistake that went on for a little bit long. Anyway, these things happen, but it does not cast a very good light upon the industry. On the other hand if Toyota, have to recall a couple of cars, it does not mean that the whole car industry is now in a bad light too.

I think the lesson that we have learn t Waiora, is that we can never really be sure if the product that you are buying, has what it says on the label. That goes for every product on the shelves these days. There are so many products that have added vitamins and minerals, are all of those products tested on a regular basis, not by the looks of things. Waiora was not able to detect their error for six years, so obviously there is no regular official testing of the products? Who knows what the real practices and inner workings of things really are.

I am sure that Waiora has since cleaned up their act. The Waiora Natural Cellular Defense blooper, was a little mistake that Waiora got rapped on the knuckles for.

In conclusion, it is important to be aware of the fact that there are negative things that happen in all business situations. There is no business worth its salt that hasn’t been able to move through those negative moments. There is also the point that it is a very competitive market, and such a small blooper might hurt Waiora. These negative news stories should not discourage us from our business, but rather, make us focus on the most important thing in any business. Customer satisfaction. If your product does what you say it does, then it should be fine.

I guess a good way of promoting any product is to use it yourself and to test, how it works for you. This way you can be sure to sleep well at night when you recommend the product to other people. If everybody sold products that they knew were effective for them, we set the quality control with the consumer. Have fun with your marketing adventures.

Network marketing success? How the heck do you reach that?

Especially network marketing success online. It seems that everybody and his “brother” is on the rampage to get network marketing success on the internet. Everywhere I look there is another blog springing up and aspiring to be the next super network marketing Guru. With the latest “network marketing tips”. Is there a lot of competition? Sure. Are there enough prospects for everyone. Sure. The crucial factor to your network marketing success though, is to be creative and think out of the box!

Yeah sure, for network marketing success, you have to do what is already working, duplication. Does that mean that we all have to do the same thing and end up like a bunch of drones in a bee hive, all acting doing and thinking in the same way? This business is about freedom, and I see a lot of people jumping from one fish bowl to another, never truly getting to the ocean, and never reaching network marketing success.

Duplication of method is important, no doubt, but the crucial factor that will give you network marketing success, will be how you can make those techniques your own. Network marketing success and especially the principals of attraction marketing, will come once you are comfortable with your own methods, or should I rather say, duplicating the methods in your own way.

It saddens me to go to my Facebook account, just to see a whole bunch of drones that are looking, saying and doing the same things.

If I were out there, looking for network marketing success, I would look for the most interesting and charismatic person to show me the ropes.

It seems that the same people are chasing the same people around and around, everybody trying to convert everybody, everybody after that elusive network marketing success. No way man! How about going out and getting some fresh prospects. Like maybe targeting some lucrative keywords, that new blood will be searching for. Expand.

I know that Google has placed a whole lot more emphasis on the social aspect. Still, more than 60% of my traffic comes from the organic search results, and let me tell you it is much easier to close a fresh prospect, than it is someone that has been surfing Facebook for information, and been bombarded by everyone in the network marketing business.

The search engines will always be there, and, in traditional internet marketing, where most of my skills were learnt, the search engines will always be king.

“Yes , but Bill, it’s so difficult to rank in the search engines.”

Actually, your network marketing success, is totally dependent on traffic. The more traffic you have the better you will do. The better you rank in the search engines, the more fresh traffic you will have. It’s simple.

It can be a big struggle to create leads, and in your first couple of months, this is a crucial factor. Without leads we are going no where. I struggled for a long time to get leads, and when I finally did get some they turned out to be cold leads. Useless.

Working for weeks and even months, to just come up with a cold lead or two is so frustrating. The initial sense of excitement soon fades when you realize that all you are getting are a bunch of useless leads that don’t bring you any cash. We then get frustrated, sometimes even going out to lead sources, willing to order leads, out of complete desperation. I know how that feels, but take some good advice. Don’t do it. You are going to regret it later, no doubt. There is a great method to generate leads on demand.

The first step to getting leads on demand is to target the right audience.

You don’t want to go pissing about here, time is money. Find groups of people that are already interested in what you are offering. A good resource for this is to use Facebook. There are millions of people, that give away their interests on their pages, giving you a good idea if they would be interested in what you are offering them. Give away something for free, that is of value, this is a great way to generate leads on demand.

Another good tip, is to not go bashing them with your offer straight away. This is simply annoying. There is nothing more irritating than when someone just straight up tries to sell you something! Make friends with them first. This technique is also very useful offline. Get some common ground, find out what their interests are. Offer some good advice, be genuine and honest.

If you want to generate quality leads on demand, it is important to give away something, in other words, lead with value. This way people are going to see you as a leader, someone that cares about them. This point is so crucial, and if you take this seriously, you will be able to generate quality hot leads. Give away a course, a free bundle of templates, anything that would seem like good value to your prospect.

Nobody cares about what you are selling. Create a sense of team spirit when talking to your prospect. People want to be part of a team. Create a vision, inspire passion. Most people want to feel that they are going to be part of something that is special and that is going to cater to their needs. You have to sell yourself and your inspiring idea for you to be able to get leads on demand.

Have a plan, to help your prospect and lay out the basics for them. It can be very reassuring to people when you can lay out a step by step plan to make them generate leads on demand, the way you do. One word, duplication. If your prospect sees that you have a plan that they can directly duplicate, step by step, you are on your way to creating leads on demand.

Did you know that Multi Level Marketing or Direct Selling has had a twenty year consecutive growth pattern? Compared to anything else in business MLM is a monster. Every week 175 000 people in the USA and 500 000 people world wide sign up for multi level marketing? In today’s economic climate aren’t you surprised that it still shows immense growth?
